Flowers, Vegetables, and Bulbs... Oh My!

Covington is on the cusp of zone 5 and zone 6, and there's a magnificent range of flowers and plants for your garden. There's plenty of variety and colour you can have all year long.  From the March crocuses, tulips, hyacinths, or stars of Bethlehem to the summer poppies, snapdragons, & bee balm, cone flower & sunflowers, to the fall dahlias and autumn clematis, there's something for everyone.

Don't forget about vegetables too -- your favourites can be interspersed quite readily! Bring on the tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squashes, lettuces, garlic, and corn! Covington has it all. Talk about keeping it local! We encourage you to stop in, ask questions, and become inspired!

This year's Garden tour will be host to Mutter Gottes, Westside Covington, and Old Seminary Square homes that are award winning gardens from the Cincinnati Horticultural Society, gardens that have been featured in the Cincinnati Enquirer and the Intrepid Urban Farmer at the Northern Kentucky Tribune, and in Cincinnati Refined Magazine.
